James Nettles, 34, faces charges of arson, burglary and resisting an officer without violence. Officers were patrolling near the Thai Market and Kitchen at 2235 S. Dale Mabry Highway when they spotted flames at the business and a man wearing gloves and a black backpack exiting the back. When they tried to stop the man, he ran away, but was soon detained. He was found carrying money and a DVR that belonged to the video surveillance system of the market, Tampa Police said. The building was fully engulfed in flames. No injuries were reported. Nettles reportedly told the arresting officers that he worked at the Thai Market and that owner Judy Rolison is his stepmother. He was held at the Hillsborough County Jail without bail Wednesday morning. May 25,2007 Tampa firefighter charged with burglary TAMPA — A Tampa Fire Rescue firefighter was arrested Thursday after police said he tried to burglarize a cell phone store. Geoffrey Eugene Hicks, 24, (no on-line picture available, but the newspaper shows him to be a nigger - brutus) was charged with burglary of a structure and possession of burglary tools. He posted $4,000 bail and was released from the Hillsborough County Jail. Just before 1 a.m. Thursday, a Tampa police officer on patrol heard an alarm sound outside Wireless USA at 701 S Dale Mabry Highway. The officer saw a man running outside the business, police spokeswoman Laura McElroy said, and found him crouched behind a dumpster. A crowbar was on the ground next to him. McElroy said a side door, an inside door and some cabinets showed signs of being pried open.
