Jess Dotson GETS OFF ON following me

Fire at Thai market in South Tampa called suspicious
TAMPA — Police say a closed South Tampa market was burglarized and set ablaze Tuesday night by its owner's son.
James Nettles, 34, faces charges of arson, burglary and resisting an officer without violence.
Officers were patrolling near the Thai Market and Kitchen at 2235 S. Dale Mabry Highway when they spotted flames at the business and a man wearing gloves and a black backpack exiting the back.
When they tried to stop the man, he ran away, but was soon detained. He was found carrying money and a DVR that belonged to the video surveillance system of the market, Tampa Police said.
The building was fully engulfed in flames. No injuries were reported.
Nettles reportedly told the arresting officers that he worked at the Thai Market and that owner Judy Rolison is his stepmother. He was held at the Hillsborough County Jail without bail Wednesday morning.

Tampa firefighter charged with burglary
TAMPA — A Tampa Fire Rescue firefighter was arrested Thursday after police said he tried to burglarize a cell phone store.
Geoffrey Eugene Hicks, 24, (no on-line picture available, but the newspaper shows him to be a nigger - brutus) was charged with burglary of a structure and possession of burglary tools. He posted $4,000 bail and was released from the Hillsborough County Jail.
Just before 1 a.m. Thursday, a Tampa police officer on patrol heard an alarm sound outside Wireless USA at 701 S Dale Mabry Highway.
The officer saw a man running outside the business, police spokeswoman Laura McElroy said, and found him crouched behind a dumpster. A crowbar was on the ground next to him.
McElroy said a side door, an inside door and some cabinets showed signs of being pried open. The store’s owner, summoned to the site, told police nothing seemed to be missing.

According to a release from the county, part-time Polk County Fire Rescue firefighter Christopher Baird was fired on June 8 from his job after it was determined that recent conduct was inconsistent with requirements of a fire service professional.
In May, Baird was removed from the work schedule for personal reasons. He later tried to reestablish his duty status. It was during this time, he published rants on his public Facebook page.
Baird was arrested last night by the Tampa Police Department on a felony warrant: three counts of threatening a public servant and two counts of aggravated stalking. At the time of this release, Baird remains in the Hillsborough County Jail pending first appearance.
A former Mulberry Fire Department employee, Baird was hired as a part-time employee on Nov. 2, 2009 after PCFR assumed the fire suppression responsibilities within the City of Mulberry.

BARTOW, Fla. - The Polk County Fire Department says Christopher Baird had a clean employment record with them.
But the part-time firefighter was taken to jail after investigators say he made threats over the phone and on the internet.
According to the Polk County Sheriff's Office, during a meeting with Fire Chief Tony Crouse, Baird challenged the chief's authority and appeared hyper and agitated. But that was just the beginning.
They say he scared the receptionist telling her over the phone. "They're all afraid of me and they should be. I'm gonna get back what they took from me."
According to the fire department, Baird was on leave because of personal reasons last month. They say he tried to get back on duty but started posting rants and threats on his Facebook page.
Among things investigators say Baird wrote: "live by the gun, die by the gun" and "I own weapons of all types, but quick wit and cat like reflexes are my best weapon."
He also posted a picture that showed his fire department badge, last paycheck and a hunting knife.
Authorities say one of his final posts alluded to further confrontation with the fire department, reading "I'm up to bat now and I now I know how to make home runs if you haven't noticed yet…winning!!!"
Baird was fired this week and is charged with three counts of threats against a public servant and two counts of aggravated cyber stalking.

That's HEARSAY, no one knows he said that to the receptionist. Please note, I am not defending him he LOOKS LIKE your typical dwarfish trollish fire dept representative ... why they would fire him rather than HARNESS that insanity as they have so many others is BEYOND ME.
Maybe Hillsborough or Pasco or Zhills or Brooksville wanted him THAT BAD. Or Osceola or REEDY CREEK. LOL. Where the fire station is right there with the publix HOW CONVENIENT.

BARTOW, Fla. - The Polk County Fire Department says Christopher Baird had a clean employment record with them.
But the part-time firefighter was taken to jail after investigators say he made threats over the phone and on the internet.
According to the Polk County Sheriff's Office, during a meeting with Fire Chief Tony Crouse, Baird challenged the chief's authority and appeared hyper and agitated. But that was just the beginning.
They say he scared the receptionist telling her over the phone. "They're all afraid of me and they should be. I'm gonna get back what they took from me."
According to the fire department, Baird was on leave because of personal reasons last month. They say he tried to get back on duty but started posting rants and threats on his Facebook page.
Among things investigators say Baird wrote: "live by the gun, die by the gun" and "I own weapons of all types, but quick wit and cat like reflexes are my best weapon."
He also posted a picture that showed his fire department badge, last paycheck and a hunting knife.
Authorities say one of his final posts alluded to further confrontation with the fire department, reading "I'm up to bat now and I now I know how to make home runs if you haven't noticed yet…winning!!!"
Baird was fired this week and is charged with three counts of threats against a public servant and two counts of aggravated cyber stalking.

Tampa police: Kicked out of bar, drunken man returns with knife

TAMPA — Drunk and disorderly, a Tampa man was told to leave a bar around midnight Saturday. But he wasn't gone long from the Stop In Tavern.
Police say he soon returned with a 10-inch kitchen knife.
According to jail records, the "extremely intoxicated" suspect confronted a male victim and stabbed him once in the left forearm. The knife, police said, went in one side and out the other.
The victim was not named in the arrest report.
Bar patrons subdued the suspect until police arrived at the tavern, 4317 W South Ave., in Drew Park.
Timoteo Garcia, 40, of Tampa was arrested Sunday morning at St. Joseph's Hospital. He faces a charge of aggravated battery.
Garcia was being held Sunday at the Hillsborough County Jail on $7,500 bail.

Pasco deputies searching for brothers in weekend shooting

DADE CITY — Pasco sheriff's deputies are searching for two brothers wanted in the shooting of another man in the head over the weekend.
Jose Contreras, 24, and Adrian Contreras, 31, had an argument with the man about 10:30 p.m. Saturday in the driveway of a home at 40214 River Road, according to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office. Adan Diaz Flores, 49, was shot in the head multiple times. He is at an undisclosed hospital.
Deputies did not say what the argument was about.
Jose Contreras, of 29115 State Road 52 in San Antonio, and Adrian Contreras, of 34919 Ansley Ave. in Dade City, are both considered armed and dangerous, authorities said.
Anyone with information on their whereabouts may contact the Pasco Sheriff's Office or their local law enforcement agency immediately. The Sheriff's Office communication center is at (727) 844-7711. The toll-free tip line is 1-800-706-2488.
