wow someone over at Tampa Fire Rescue lerves to delve into the personals. Makes me kinda wonder about the amount of time they have on their hands because this outfit NEVER fails to stalk me when I am driving down Bearss Avenue in either direction.
I've got ridiculous amounts of video of them doing absolutely nothing and five neighbors passing by commenting on what is what.
It's not really amusing because now I KNOW of someone who claims to have set fires FOR THEM in the past. Huh.
And, funny how these people are always out and arriving home. Not so with my family who must be very loathed. For no good reason they were forced to run for their lives three different times, already. And, twice, the fire just wouldn't get going .......
Anyway ... dig the details. I'm sure this family is delighted. Victims of arson AND financial details (true or not) spread far and wide.

Dog, rabbit die in Lutz house fire
LUTZ -- A family of five lost a dog and pet rabbit when their home caught fire Saturday afternoon, according to Hillsborough County Fire Rescue.
The fire at 2009 Wallace Road also destroyed family keepsakes, clothing and important paperwork, said Abi Weaver of the American Red Cross Tampa Bay chapter, which is providing aid to the family.
Fire Rescue arrived at the home just after 2 p.m. The home was nearly engulfed in flames and firefighters tried to subdue the fire with water from tankers because there were no hydrants nearby.
No one was in the house at the time of the fire, but the couple who owns the house, and their sons, ages 22 and 7, and daughter age 10 arrived as firefighters were dealing with the blaze, Weaver said.
Among the items lost was the oldest son's master's thesis, which burned with the family computer.
The family will stay with relatives, but the Red cross provided them with emergency money for clothing, food and medicines, Weaver said.
"Fortunately this family owns their home and are insured," Weaver said. "So we are just helping in the immediate time until they can get that process going."
The cause is still under investigation, said Capt. Bruce Delk of Hillsborough County Fire rescue.

LUTZ - Most people are thankful to have their parents and children in the same house for Thanksgiving, but one local family has a five-generation Turkey Day tradition that started in the 1950s and is still going strong.
At the Lindsay family Thanksgiving dinner in Lutz, there are plenty of kids making plenty of excited noise. After all, family matriarch Elizabeth Lindsay has seven children, 19 grandchildren and, umm, how many great grandchildren? After 20, she says, pretty much quit counting.
"I started something, didn't I," she said. "Families a lot of times grow apart, and mine grew within."
Jennifer Pilkey, a fourth-generation member of the clan, wouldn't have it any other way.
"It's just great I still have my nanny here, my granny and my dads and all our kids," she said. "It's just awesome."
The celebration took on a special meaning for one of the "newer" members of the family, second generation sister Barbara Boully.
"I had a brother just come back from Iraq for the third time, and I'm thankful for that," she said.
Barbara's husband, Harold Boully, plays the role of family historian. He's passionate about deep family ties. Forty years ago, his family was featured in The Tampa Tribune and he still has the clippings.
"It's kind of rough getting five generations together at one time and they're scattered around," Harold Boully said. "To me, it's an honor to be in this family and they're a great bunch of people."

Pasco Man Jailed After Trying To Save Pets As Home Burns

ZEPHRYHILLS - Henry Ben Morgan wanted to save his pets.
Instead, he ended up in handcuffs and at least three dogs and a cat perished in the blaze that destroyed his home.
Just before 11 a.m. today, firefighters were called to 35615 Chester Drive and arrived 12 minutes later, finding the home engulfed in flames.
At some point, Morgan's wife arrived, followed by Morgan a few minutes later, said Pasco Fire Rescue Assistant Chief Mike Ciccarello.
Morgan started running for the house. Sheriff's deputies and firefighters yelled for him to stay back, but he kept going toward a window.
Deputies and firefighters, according to a report, restrained him so he could not jump through the window and into the blaze.
Morgan, 41, was forcibly removed from the scene, the report states, and was arrested on charges of obstructing the extinguishment of a fire, a felony, and resisting arrest without violence, a misdemeanor, respectively.
He was being held at the Land O' Lakes Jail this evening. Bail was set at $5,150.
About 20 firefighters continued fighting the one-alarm fire but couldn't save the animals or the home, Ciccarello said.
"It looks like a total loss," he said.
The family of five, including two teenage girls and a 7-year-old boy, are being helped by the American Red Cross.
The fire began between a garage-turned-bedroom and a utility room in the small ranch home. The cause was a worn extension cord that had been run under a door, Ciccarello said.
No one was injured.

I think the felony charge might be a little harsh, but the right thing was done to prevent him from finding the same fate as his pets.

i guess i should be shocked that cops here would arrest a distraught man trying to save his pets. (as though this is a crime) but i'm not. in the year i've been in florida, it's become painfully obvious to me that florida police are monsters who believe they can shoot anyone, arrest anyone, and do anthing to anyone just because they've got a badge. apparently the constitution doesn't apply here.

Sheesh...There is something to be said about the difference between 'Letter of the law' and 'Spirit of the law'. The letter of the law may be a felony, but COME ON. The man was not in his right mind: 1 - his house was burning down, 2 - His pets were dying.Put him in custody, remove him from the scene. But charge him with a felony? That cop needs to be smacked upside the head with the reality stick.Hopefully the state/feds will decide to not prosecute this poor man.

He should not have been arrested at all. This is called "TEMPORARY INSANITY". Another jerk cop hiding behind basic probable cause for an arrest without any hope of a conviction unless his attorney sells him out for a plea deal. What a jerk cop.

Yeah! that's our wonderful legal system here in Florida these days...nothin' like kickin' em when their down. Question is, would they have still arrested him if it were his children he was trying to save. Well, to some people, thier pets are their children. I would have done the same as him, they should drop the charges, dismiss the case and let him get back to his family who needs him. The he11 with these cookie cutter BS laws, No compassion allowed.

first off, i am a fire fighter certified in this lovely state. for no reason should a fire fighter ever place hands on a person for trying to do what they should have been doing instead. give me a break a 1 alarm fire and you lost 4 pets and the whole house i have personaly fought a nice 3 alarm fire and managed to save the home or the pets, either / or something would and should of been saved! as for our lovely LEO's give me a break the man lost his home and family pets to charge him at all is ludicrous oh and last time i checked a home owner has the right to refuse the fire dept from putting out a fire on his property let alone from being on his property , unless the fire endangers other structures that do not belong to him . that officer should re-read his Florida state statutes . You've got to be kidding. This poor family. By instinct, I would run to the fire as well. My pooch is a member of the family. I would guess the officer doesn't have pets. Or perhaps the Land O Lakes police are not close to their arrest quota for the month. geezzzee.

Alright where are all the ones that was writing to chain inmates to the floors at??? This is FLORIDA you don't have to do anything wrong to land in jail! I bet he gets prison time for this after all he didn't get the pets out of the house before the fire broke out so that was his fault too... And they will get him for the fire also so that's an arson arrest... yep going away for that 85% most likely because he didn't have a gun... well lets hope there wasn't one in the house or he will be getting that 5 years plus the time for the obstructing the extinguishment of a fire, a felony, and resisting arrest without violence... hummm I think we are looking at about 15 to 20 years.. after all he is one of those CRIMINALS now.. I feel terrible for this entire family. The children and mom and dad lost everything in this fire including their family pets. Now, the police put the husband in jail???? Outrageous!! Now the family not only has to replace everything, find a place to live, clothes to wear right before the holidays PLUS come up with bail money to get dad out of jail. This is disgusting and I ask the Land O Lakes police department "where is the humanity in this???" My thoughts and prayers to the entire family for their loss today.

I have been through what this family is going through now, and I can tell you that I would have done the same thing he did. I remember the shock of watching my home burn and knowing that I couldn't get my cats out. A friend tried to get in and get to them, but the police also stopped him.The difference being, the cops had brains enough to realize that you don't think too clearly in that situation and didn't arrest him! I can't believe that anyone could be this insensitive to the state of mind that that man was in!! I hope he fights this mess and wins!

Pasco Man Jailed After Trying To Save Pets As Home Burns

ZEPHRYHILLS - Henry Ben Morgan wanted to save his pets.
Instead, he ended up in handcuffs and at least three dogs and a cat perished in the blaze that destroyed his home.
Just before 11 a.m. today, firefighters were called to 35615 Chester Drive and arrived 12 minutes later, finding the home engulfed in flames.
At some point, Morgan's wife arrived, followed by Morgan a few minutes later, said Pasco Fire Rescue Assistant Chief Mike Ciccarello.
Morgan started running for the house. Sheriff's deputies and firefighters yelled for him to stay back, but he kept going toward a window.
Deputies and firefighters, according to a report, restrained him so he could not jump through the window and into the blaze.
Morgan, 41, was forcibly removed from the scene, the report states, and was arrested on charges of obstructing the extinguishment of a fire, a felony, and resisting arrest without violence, a misdemeanor, respectively.
He was being held at the Land O' Lakes Jail this evening. Bail was set at $5,150.
About 20 firefighters continued fighting the one-alarm fire but couldn't save the animals or the home, Ciccarello said.
"It looks like a total loss," he said.
The family of five, including two teenage girls and a 7-year-old boy, are being helped by the American Red Cross.
The fire began between a garage-turned-bedroom and a utility room in the small ranch home. The cause was a worn extension cord that had been run under a door, Ciccarello said.
No one was injured.

i guess i should be shocked that cops here would arrest a distraught man trying to save his pets. (as though this is a crime) but i'm not. in the year i've been in florida, it's become painfully obvious to me that florida police are monsters who believe they can shoot anyone, arrest anyone, and do anthing to anyone just because they've got a badge. apparently the constitution doesn't apply here.

Sheesh...There is something to be said about the difference between 'Letter of the law' and 'Spirit of the law'. The letter of the law may be a felony, but COME ON. The man was not in his right mind: 1 - his house was burning down, 2 - His pets were dying.Put him in custody, remove him from the scene. But charge him with a felony? That cop needs to be smacked upside the head with the reality stick.Hopefully the state/feds will decide to not prosecute this poor man.

Question is, would they have still arrested him if it were his children he was trying to save. Well, to some people, thier pets are their children. first off, i am a fire fighter certified in this lovely state. for no reason should a fire fighter ever place hands on a person for trying to do what they should have been doing instead. give me a break a 1 alarm fire and you lost 4 pets and the whole house i have personaly fought a nice 3 alarm fire and managed to save the home or the pets, either / or something would and should of been saved! as for our lovely LEO's give me a break the man lost his home and family pets to charge him at all is ludicrous oh and last time i checked a home owner has the right to refuse the fire dept from putting out a fire on his property let alone from being on his property , unless the fire endangers other structures that do not belong to him . that officer should re-read his Florida state statutes . I bet he gets prison time for this after all he didn't get the pets out of the house before the fire broke out so that was his fault too... "People will die as a result," he said as about 300 people looked on. "The fires will burn longer."
A number of Democratic lawmakers joined the protesters (Rep. Luis Garcia, a former Miami Beach fire chief, is at the podium) and at least one Republican, Rep. Ed Hooper of Clearwater, also a firefighter.
Afterward, the men and women took to the halls, stopping legislators and taking front row seats at House and Senate committee meetings. "Make sure you are seen," said Capt. Shayne Stewart of the Okaloosa Island Fire Department. "If we lose," he said, "then we really have to attack that constitutional amendment. That is the killer."
Carver said all the firefighters were off duty.

They could only round up 300 for their "rally."
The other 21,700 are sitting at home, waiting for the Legislature to cut their property taxes.

I'd say 300 non-government people at a rally in Tally is pretty good.It's not an easy place to get to from most of the state---and most people have to do real work, which does not include watching legislators.And I can say this from experience: when my building caught on fire and a neighbor had a heart attack, there were a lot of people very happy to see those firemen show up.

I support firefighters and all of their hard work. Having said that, the increase in municipal spending over the last five years has been obscene. It's time to cut property taxes now.

Hey, my insurance costs can't go up much more so why not cut taxes, firefighters, education...whatever At least my taxes will go down :). I figure with a 16,000 dollar tax bill each year I should have a personal firefighter sitting in my yard for 1/2 a year.

I always invite people who get the 'real picture' of firefighters to read my blog. People are FINALLY catching on to this hijacking. I'd like to hang around with a bunch of guys all day -- grilling, having my wife stop by for a few --- dealing with no responsibility, having no real education, raking in the big bucks, intimidating women and children. Frankly though, knowing all of this, they never bothered me at all until they started stalking me for the county of hillsborough city of tampa.The City of Tampa firemen stalk women and children. Let's count each fire unit and how many house fires they put out in a year. Last year Safety Harbor Fire fighters or sleepers did not put out one house firs all year and the town gave them 3.6 Million dollars. Think about the things the school system could have done with some of that money.

The independent special fire control districts in Pinellas County will be severly impacted by this legislation. There is no other money to cut to make up for loss revenues except for jobs. As for the number of firefighters in attendance, most of them drove up this morning and left as soon as the rally was over. I'd rather pay a few hundreds dollars more to make sure that I receive a great response time if my house is on fire.

Sorry 8:30, but we have teachers taking kids on field trips to meet bums in the "tent city." We have part-time employees driving $400 a month city-leased vehicles and charging the city for gas used to visit the in-laws. I could go on and on and on and on. There's so much room for spending cuts it would make a rational persons head spin. Now get back to your union meeting and complain that you're not paid enough to sit around playing pinball at the firehouse.

300 firefighters rally against cuts
